The management team share the common goal and passion of creating high quality, distinctive events, of strengthening communities and creating employment within the Tweed.

Kerry Turner – Project Manager

Kerry has over 30 years experience in accounting and business management. Kerry comes to us from a career in London as Finance Manager for a retailer of alcohol at major outdoor music festivals. Kerry has extensive experience in event financial management and was involved in all pre-production planning processes.

Kerry has worked at outdoor music festivals throughout the UK, Scotland and Ireland with turnover ranging between UK ₤330,000 for a one day event to UK₤1.6 million for a four day event with staff of 700 plus.

Kerry is the event co-ordinator at the Murwillumbah Community Centre Inc. and produced the 2009 and 2010 “Belly to Big School” Family Fun Day and the inaugural Unity Festival in November 2009. Kerry has produced the Harmony & World Environment Day celebrations for several years and was the festival accountant at Joyfest 2005, a 3 day world food and music event on the Gold Coast.

Lisa Flower – Marketing Manager

For 15 years Lisa Flower has worked in the area of marketing and communications for both the private and public sector. Lisa’s skills are in developing and implementing creative marketing strategies, stakeholder management, community relations, market and social research and all facets of writing. She holds a bachelor in Communications majoring in marketing and journalism, a diploma in project management and a Certificate 1V in Training & Assessment as well as completing numerous professional development courses.

Chana Waters – Collateral Design

Self taught, Chana Waters is a creative and talented graphic designer and delights in designing and producing original logos, programs, posters, brochures and business cards for various businesses.

Chana successfully juggles a busy lifestyle as a mother, a full time employee in Murwillumbah, a singer/songwriter recording and performing her own music at various venues throughout the Tweed and Northern Rivers and as a creative computer artist. She has put her creativity to work designing posters for world Environment Day, Harmony Day, Wollumbin festival, UNITY festival and for her own bands. Chana, the UNITY festival would not be what it is without your committed and talented assistance. Thank You.
