The UNITY festival (UNITY) is a not for profit organisation dedicated to producing an inclusive, high quality, unique event.

UNITY creates opportunities for greater social interaction between the many diverse communities of the Tweed & Byron Shires whilst at the same time creating an event that becomes a ‘must see’ on national and international event calendars.

UNITY aims to:

a)  represent as many culturally and linguistically diverse communities as possible

b) give the burgeoning performing arts and creative industry in the Tweed & Byron Shires an opportunity to perform locally (and be paid)

c) be affordable to everyone

UNITY also aims to develop mentoring programs, for local youth, in all facets of the event production process from business and financial management through to production and artistic/creative development.

Mission Statement

To develop a sustainable tourism attraction of excellent quality that showcases the cultural diversity of music and dance in the Tweed and Bryon Shire, that is earth friendly and creates training and employment opportunities for the community, particularly our youth.
