If you offer food that is fresh and culturally infused – in other words not considered ‘junk or fast food’ – we warmly welcome you to submit a stallholders form. Our aim is to provide a rich, culinary experience with foods that are diverse to our community and to give our youth and children an opportunity to savour new flavours and dishes that are either a staple or considered celebratory in another country.
Please note, the stallholder form includes an application for both the UNITY festival on Saturday 22 October and the Food, Jazz and Wine Festival on Friday 21 October. Both these events are being staged at the Murwillumbah Showground. Stallholders are welcome to participate in either one or both.
The 2011 festival is building on our strong reputation of being earth friendly and will not allow plastic bags, plastic plates, plastic straws or plastic knifes and folks. Tweed Council’s Stallholder Guidelines clearly outline what packaging requirements are acceptable and unacceptable at UNITY.
Greenpack is a local supplier of compostable & eco friendly packaging and is our sponsor of UNITY festival. Please contact us if you have any questions.
